Central Atlanta Tractor Sales was founded in 1995 by Charles Spooner. With a vision to create a company rooted in integrity and long-lasting relationships, Charles launched Central Atlanta Tractor and brought his son, Chuck, and daughter, Marla, into the business.

As the company grew, so did its reach. While our customer base remains strong in the Southeastern United States, we now serve customers across multiple countries. Through every phase of growth, one thing has remained constant: our commitment to doing business the right way. Charles and Marla have since retired, and Chuck now leads the company with the same dedication and passion that helped build it from the ground up.

At Central Atlanta Tractor Sales, we believe that in this industry and any industry, our greatest strength is our reputation. We strive to make our name synonymous with dependable equipment and quality business relationships.

In July of 2014, Central Atlanta Tractor became the authorized SANY dealer for central and north Georgia and sold the first new SANY excavator into the territory. This sale marked the start of a new strong market presence in Georgia and paved the way for the company's expanded product line. That product line now includes Bell Articulated trucks and IROCK crushers and screening plants.

In May of 2020 the company relocated to a new 25,000 sq. ft. full-service facility. The company now operates with 14 full-service bays, a 6,000 square foot expanded parts department and added ample staging for the 150+ unit heavy rental fleet. While the company’s roots are firmly established in north and central Georgia our services now extend to customers across the Southeast. Central Atlanta Tractor highly values the reputation it’s built over the years and that core value provides the inspiration to be recognized for superior equipment offerings, honest service and lasting business relationships.
